Saans Downtown fine art gallery is an outgrowth of Saans Photography, a downtown Salt Lake City institution since 1952.
Saans Downtown was established in 2007 following the purchase of Saans Photography by Red Oak River Creative, Inc.
Our gallery, curated by Shalee Cooper, exhibits a wide variety of fine art photography by local, regional and international artists, established and emerging. Saans is a member of the Salt Lake Gallery Association. New exhibits usually feature opening artist receptions normally timed for the association's Gallery Stroll evenings, generally the third Friday of each month.
Our Saans portrait studio continues to operate at the downtown location as well, creating professional and business portraits for the Salt Lake area’s most demanding clients. Additionally, Saans offers editorial and commercial photography services.
Please visit Saans Downtown at 173 East Broadway in downtown Salt Lake City. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10am ‘til 6pm (sometimes closed for lunch from 1 to 2).
